Hennies Tours Solo in Advance of “Help Me Name Melody”

Weird Weeds‘ vocalist, drummer Nick Hennies has been extremely active recently.  In addition to having just wrapped Help Me Name Melody for the Weeds, this year he’s already released both a recording of Alvin Lucier’s Still and Moving Lines of Silence in Families of Hyperbolas (available now on Quiet Design) and an album of solo material entitled Lungs (available now from Full Spectrum).  A live version of his “Psalms” works has also been made available this year via Compost and Height.  Busy busy busy.

The Weird Weeds then set out on tour with the Tim Barnes/John Dieterich/Thollem McDonas Trio to promote Help Me Name Melody, which comes out September 14th on LP and CD:
