New LP ‘Gold Dissolves to Gray’ by Sunset, on the way + tour
As Fall will remind you, when it rains it pours (though right now it’s just beautiful, so think back to a week ago or so when it was gray and stormy). Around here it has certainly been pouring, at least by our standards of business. In addition to the stellar new LP from Brazos and an impending new effort from Mark David Ashworth, we have to look forward to the fourth LP from Bill Baird’s Sunset – due out on November 24th. Fan favorites like “Civil War”, obscure classics like “Garden of Eden”, and new hits like “Bones” and “Our Dreams Did Weave a Shade” are all featured.
As with the Brazos LP the packaging features deluxe 180g vinyl and CD combo, or an option for a single CD. Digital sales will of course be available at all major online outlets, even some smaller ones like Other Music.
Bill Baird has a handfull of live shows left on his current Neon Wake tour:
Oct. 26 – Goobye Blue Monday – Brooklyn, NY
Oct. 27 – Death By Audio – Brooklyn, NY
Oct. 28 – The Khyber – Philadelphia, PA
Oct. 29 – Skull Alley – Louisville, KY
